Particulars of Establishment


(1) Meaning of Name:

KOUSHIKAI(浩志会) means the gathering/association of the persons who have a spirit(志) of KOUZEN(浩然), and of noblesse oblige. KOUZEN has the meaning of both (a) status of water flowing voluminously/slowly and (b) condition of human mind with grandiose tranquil. China's classic MOUSHI(孟子) states that a spirit of KOUZEN shall be nurtured.

(2) Date of Establishment : November 19, 1982

(3)Purpose:

KOUSHIKAI shall "(a)execute various training/enlightening programs for both public-sector and private-sector leaders, and (b)investigate on nurturing of human capital that match up with needs of contemporary society; in order to upgrade the quality of public/private-sector young leaders who shoulder Japan's future at the stand point of integrated and international perspectives. Having been doing so, KOUSHIKAI shall contribute to the growth/development of Japan's society and to the international community."

(4)List of Operations:

(ⅰ) arrangement of and assistance for speech/study session/seminar/lecture on      nurturing of human capital
(ⅱ) investigation and research on nurturing of human capital
(ⅲ) publishing on nurturing human capital
(ⅳ) any other operations necessary for achievement of the purpose of KOUSHIKAI
